On Thursday the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its All-Conference award winners for football wrapping up the 2008 season.  The Crown College football team which finished with its second straight winning season in program history, at 6-4 and a 2nd place finish in the UMAC, had a total of 14 players earn All Conference with 5 players earning 1st team honors including senior offensive lineman...[more]

Crown College entered the 2008 campaign coming off the programs first ever winning season the year before. Considering that Crown had started football as a club sport in 1984, the first winning season was a big act to follow for the 2008 Storm. The Storm very young in 2008, with their roster being comprised overwhelmingly of freshman and sophomores. Only five seniors were on the team for Crown.

Sophomore quarterback Adam Hayes became the most recent addition to the Storm's run at Player of the Week awards in the conference.  Hayes was recently named Offensive Player of the Week in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference for his performance in the Storm's championship game clinching win against Martin Luther on Saturday, October 18.
