The men's golf team competed on Friday and Saturday in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championship at Alexandria Country Club in Alexandria, Minnesota.  The Storm sat in second place after the first round, fueled by a tournament leading 75 by senior Josh Ottoson.  Freshman Steve Tisch also came up big in the first round, posting an 83.

Senior Josh Ottoson led the Storm golfers to a 4th place finish at the UMAC preview hosted by Crown College at Island View Golf Club in Waconia, Minn.  Ottoson posted an 80, which was tied for third overall.  Also scoring for the Storm was Steve Tisch and Gatjeak Gew who each had rounds of 85 on the afternoon and Travis Berry finished with and 89.

The men's golf team had a strong showing at the Bethany Lutheran Invitational on Friday afternoon as they finished 2nd with all seven UMAC schools present.  Seniors Josh Ottoson and Travis Berry led the way for the Storm posting a 79 each, while junior Jeff Groth came in with an 85 and sophomore Gatjeak Gew came in with a 90 to round out the scoring for Crown.
