Joe Bollant enters his third season as the head men's golf coach for the
Storm. Last year he led the team to a fourth place conference finish as well as coaching the school's third consecutive Golfer of the Year in Josh Ottoson.
Bollant, a native of Winona, Minnesota graduated from Winona State University in 1988 with a bacelor of science in Accounting. Bollant was captain of the 1984 Minnesota State golf team champions. Bollant played one year of college golf and is hoping to leverage his passion for the game of golf as well as his membership at Windsong Farm Golf Club to propel the Crown College golf team to a competitive NCAA Division III program.
Coach Bollant will lead the Crown College golf team who won their first UMAC Conference Championship in 2006 and are looking at moving the to the next level. "I am excited about the opportunity to coach at Crown and serve as a mentor in the personal and spiritual lives of the athletes."
Bollant is owner of an Accounting and Financial Staffing firm, The Persimmon
Group, Inc and lives in Buffalo, Minnesota with his wife Lisa and two children Dan and Lexi.
