Josh Dunwoody begins his third season at the helm of the men's soccer program after guiding the team to their second winning season since the rebirth of the program in 1996 and the most overall wins in a season (11) since 1983. Prior to his head coaching position, he served as assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer for both the Crown men's and women's soccer teams the previous three seasons. Coach Dunwoody played a vital role in building both Crown soccer programs that has produced some of Crown's most successful soccer teams, including a women's NCCAA Division II National Championship in 2006 and 2007.

Before coming to Crown, Coach Dunwoody played at Faith Baptist Bible College and helped lead his team to the NCCAA Division II National Tournament in his senior year. Coach Dunwoody has earned his United States Soccer Federation 'D' License, as well as attaining the Goalkeeper Level I and II Diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He was a professional coach for Tonka United Soccer Club for two years where he led the U16 C1 Boys Team to the State Championship in 2006.

Coach Dunwoody also serves as the Interim Director of Athletics and resides with his wife, Kristin, and daughter, Klaryssa (3) and son, Wyatt (1), in Mound, Minnesota.

Nathan Budish

Assistant Coach

Nathan Budish begins his first year on staff as an assistant coach for the men's soccer program in 2009.  Coach Budish completed an impressive career as a four year player for the Storm and graduated in the spring of 2009 with a degree in Sport Management from Crown.  As a player, Budish was a 3-time UMAC All-Conference first team selection, 2-time team MVP, and 3-time captain.  Coach Dunwoody states, "while immediately returning as a coach to a team you played for is never easy, NAthan has a unique combination of personality and playing experience that lends itself to making this transition effectively.  His role as a captain for the last 3 years has given him experience that will transfer into his new role.  We are excited to have him continue with a program that he has already done so much for as a player."
