Freshman Captures All-Conference Honorable Mention for Softball Team

St. Paul, Minn - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) released its softball all-conference awards on Monday and freshman third baseman Gennie Bunting was voted All-Conference Honorable Mention. Bunting was one of only two freshman voted to the All-Conference Honorable Mention team and the only Crown representative given a post-season award. Bunting led the team in five offensive categories as a freshman including a .418 average and recorded six of the eight wins for the Storm as a pitcher. The Storm finished with an overall record of 8-23 and ended 2-19 in conference play including going 6-6 at home.
