Golf Competes at Northwestern Invitational

Minneapolis, Minn - The Crown College Golf team hit the links on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon of golf against other UMAC teams at the Northwestern Invitational held at Gross National Golf Club in Minneapolis. The Storm had two finish in the top 10 on the day including senior Gatjeak Gew (St. Cloud, Minn.) who shot a one round total of 74 two strokes off the lead from Bethany Lutherans Joseph Baer. Sophomore Stephen Tisch came in 8th place overall shooting a 77 five strokes off the lead on the day.
The Storm are back in action next week as they play in the North Central Invitational on September 28th before heading to Alexandria, Minn. to take part on the UMAC Conference tournament October 1st-3rd.
