Hayes Named UMAC Offensive Player of the Week
Sophomore quarterback Adam Hayes became the most recent addition to the Storm's run at Player of the Week awards in the conference. Hayes was recently named Offensive Player of the Week in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference for his performance in the Storm's championship game clinching win against Martin Luther on Saturday, October 18.
Hayes led the offense by completing 19 of 26 passes for a total of 335 yards and three touchdown passes. Hayes was sacked once in the 41-35 win, but did not turn the ball over. All three touchdown passes were to previous Special Teams Player of the Week recipient, wide receiver Drew Milner. Hayes is currently ranked 13th nationally in passing efficiency with a 163.72 passer rating.
The Storm will host Minot State-Bottineau on Saturday, October 25 at 1 PM before their conference championship rematch with Northwestern College on Friday, October 31 at 7:30 PM.
