Men's Basketball Drops Non-Conference Road Contest
The Storm traveled to Minneapolis, Minn on Tuesday night to take on North Central University in a road non-conference game. Playing without senior leading scorer Jacob Jarvis (Kalispell, MT) and reserve post player Inder Singh (Mundelein, IL/Mundelein) the short-handed Storm started 4 freshman and a junior against a veteran Rams team. Things unraveled pretty quickly on this night as the Storm shot 37% on the night and struggled to keep up with the fast paced run out style that the Rams employed in beating the Storm 89-49. The Storm were led by 6'4" junior post player Dan Pust (Somers, MT) who scored 15 points on 6-7 shooting while grabbing 6 rebounds against 6'8" center for the Rams. The Storm had one other player in double figures with freshman guard Travis Bickmann adding 10 points on 4-8 shooting. The Storm are back in action on Friday night as they finish out the season with 4 home conference games beginning with The College of St. Scholastica on Friday night with tip off beginning at 7:30 p.m.
