New Head Men’s Soccer Coach for the Storm
The Crown College Athletic Department is pleased to announce Art Busha as the new Head Men’s Soccer Coach. In addition to his responsibilities as a head coach, Coach Busha will also serve as the Head Athletic Recruiter, a new position that will assist all programs in identifying and recruiting student-athletes to Crown. Director of Athletics Josh Dunwoody states, “Coach Busha brings a wealth of experience in coaching soccer, from club to NAIA to NCAA III. I believe that this is just what this program needs to reach the next level. His demonstrated success in recruiting quality student-athletes is exciting for the men’s soccer program and all sport programs at Crown as he works with each coach to enhance recruiting efforts. His passion for using soccer to impact his players’ lives for Christ is obvious from the first conversation with him. I am excited about the new direction of this program under Coach Busha’s leadership.”
Coach Busha’s most recent role has been as the Director of Coaching for the Ahwatukee Soccer Club in Phoenix, Arizona. His previous college coaching experience includes time at Concordia University (NE) and LeTourneau University (TX). He has a master’s degree in Athletic Administration/Physical Education Supervision and carries several soccer coaching licenses including an NSCAA Premier ‘A’ Diploma and a Scottish Football Association Intermediate ‘A’ License. Coach Busha will be moving to Minnesota with his wife, Cindy, in July.
