Saint Bonifacius, Minn.  – Head Women’s Soccer Coach Tim Prusha has resigned his position after six years with the program (four as head coach) to pursue further education.  “I have decided to step down from my duties as Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Crown College so that the administration can find a suitable replacement that meets the level of time commitment that is required to take the program to the next level.   I would like to sincerely thank the current and former players, parents and fans who have supported this program over the past six years of my involvement,” said Prusha in a statement about his decision to resign.  Prusha has decided to pursue more career development opportunities within the marketing department at Crown.

Prusha just completed his fourth year as the head women's soccer coach for Crown College.  In 2006, his first year at the helm, he led the Storm women to their most successful season as they went on to win the NCCAA Division II National Championship, a feat that they matched in 2007.  Before moving into this position, Coach Prusha served as the top assistant under former head coach, James Hunter.  Interim Athletic Director, Josh Dunwoody, said a search will begin immediately to hire a replacement.
