Two Time State Champion Joins Men's Basketball Team
Saint Bonifacius, Minn – Head Men’s Basketball Coach Jon Barsness announced today that Andrew Harrel son of Steve and Nancy of Kalispell, MT has been accepted and plans on attending Crown College in St. Bonifacius, MN this coming fall and will be competing in men’s basketball for the Storm. Andrew attended high school at Stillwater Christian High School and recently graduated with an Associates Degree from Flathead Valley Community College. While attending Stillwater Christian High School Harrel helped his team win two state championships and was a 3 time all-state player including the 2006 State Tournament MVP. The 6'6" wing averaged 15.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in his high school career. "Andrew brings a wealth of talent to the team, a winning track record, and most importantly we are gaining a phenomenal Christian student-athlete who has a tremendous heart for the Lord and will fit in really well with our returning members", says head coach Jon Barsness. Harrel joins freshman Jacob Jensen (Brainerd, Minn) and transfer David Glover (Burnsville, Minn) as commitments to the men's basketball program.
