Sharon Haggerty

Assistant Coach

Sharon Haggerty, a 2007 Crown College alum, enters her first year with the Crown College women's soccer coaching staff in 2009.  Haggerty played four seasons for the Storm, from 2004-2007.  She was a key member of two NCCAA II National Championship teams, playing defense and earning All-Region honors in 2004 and 2007. “I am extremely excited to add Sharon to our staff,” says Prusha. “As a four-year player in our program, she proved that she is a mentally-tough, hard-working person that earned the respect of her teammates.  She will serve as a great role-model for our players and be able to demonstrate the life-lessons that the game can teach a young person.”

Haggerty has been active in coaching since graduating from Crown with an Elementary Education degree in December of 2007.  She has coached with Tonka United Soccer Club under the tuteleage of John Tudor, former Director of Coaching, and under current Director of Coaching, David Law.  Haggerty recently lead her Tonka United under-12 girls team to the State Tournament and will continue to coach with Tonka throughout the coming year.
